Lindsay Lohan’s The Price of Fame App

Lindsay Lohan has announced and launched her first gaming app. The Price of Fame is one of many apps the actress is releasing. OKGo’s Andy Ross programmed the celebrity cultured game which debuted at number 10 in the app store.

Similar to Kim Kardashian Hollywood the game is based on creating your own celebrity and increasing your fan base. Keeping it more simpler than Kim’s app this game focuses more on swiping and selecting comical possessions and entourage members along the way.

Kim Kardashian Hollywood was a great success accumulating $200 million. The app is often updated to keep fans occupied and engaged, her momager and sisters were recently added into the virtual scene.

Kirsten Dunst stars in a short film based on how celebrities are approached in a selfie culture world.

The film gives an alternative perspective on how a celebrity feels when approached by a fan. It also portrays how the relationship between fans and their idols have evolved, mainly due to social media.

The film shows the lack of interest in communicating with the star, yet eager to pose for selfies and post them online. Kinda makes you feel sorry for poor Dunst.

Every time you blink, three people around the world have taken a selfie. (I made that up, just go with it).

Getting the perfect selfie can be a struggle. How many times do you have to take 40 snaps to delete them all ? From the lighting, to the angle, to the filter you pick, taking a selfie is turning into a serious form of art.

JIBO: The Future Family Robot.

JIBO is the latest successful product which is in development thanks to an Indiegogo campaign. Over $1million has been raised in anticipation for a product that will change homes.

So what or who is JIBO ? JIBO is a robot with the intelligence and capability to take part in family life.

The robot is designed as a social provider to participate in delivering messages, capturing pictures, reading stories and much more. JIBO can be seen as a personal assistant in the home, which is easy to communicate with (and looks cute).

JIBO is like an iPad robot with a better personality than Siri, and is targeted to be released in 2015.

The Indiegogo campaign is still open with many perks to choose from, and as the product is still in development stages more features are likely to boost the robot to success.

#CandidlyNicole From Web Series to TV

Nicole Richie is back! (Not that she really went anywhere, but just go with it).

Nicole earned her reality star status in The Simple Life. If you haven’t seen the show, seek help. No really. The Simple Life was 2003’s Keeping Up With The Kardashians, staring former BFF Paris Hilton.

What we learnt from The Simple Life today, is that Nicole Richie is a living meme/gif. So who wouldn’t want to watch the sassy star back on our screens?!

Nicole began her web series #CandidlyNicole in 2013 and the lols began.

Hosted by AOL, the mini series ran 20 episodes of the style star based on her irreverent twitter feed. And in true Nicole fashion she tackled each show with her witty unfiltered sense of humour.

The Socialmedialite explored many subjects from tramp stamps to fashion advice. Many of the episodes also featured her close friends and family members, including the legendary Lionel.

With great success, #CandidlyNicole is upgrading from an internet series to a television show (yey). Check out the trailer below.
